1 head red cabbage
1/2 lb. bacon
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
salt and pepper
Cook bacon until crisp. Remove from pan and add cabbage to bacon drippings. Cook cabbage until wilted. ( I added a lid). Add sugar and vinegar. Season with salt and pepper. Crumble bacon and add to cabbage.
